Water has always been a life preserving and saving liquid. In trying to colonize other planets man’s main search is for water which has both hydrogen and oxygygen. So the presence of water in any planet is indicative of life in there.
Photographs received from other planets are analyzed for marks of water or other life indicators. A recent one showed a figure like human being sitting on a rocky surface. This created a lot of furor and many vouched that it is a woman with her hair spread and sitting on a rock.
Another photograph of Saturn seems to show the presence of water, creating a lot of confidence among scientists. These and other discoveries make one believe that life is possible where right conditions are met.
Issac Asimov and Erich Von Dainiken should feel very happy.
